Wood Protect Application Instructions

SURFACE PREPARATION: SHAKE WELL and DO NOT FREEZE. Apply to CLEAN AND DRY SURFACE at temperatures between 40-110 degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure rain is not in the forecast for 24 hours for outdoor applications. Sand or power-wash old coatings off of surface. Ideal for new wood treatments. Can be applied over non-oil-based stains.

APPLICATION: DO NOT THIN. Wood Protect can be brushed, ragged, rolled or sprayed onto wood surfaces. Fully saturate entire wood surface. On decks it is important to seal ends of boards. Press material into wood until it is completely saturated. Wipe off excess. Highly absorbent woods may require additional coats. This sealer helps wood maintain its natural appearance.

DRY TIME: Dry to the touch in 1 hour. Full cure in 7 days.

CLEAN UP: Clean application tools with soap and water.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE: DO NOT FREEZE and use within one year of date of purchase.

COVERAGE: 200 to 400 sq.ft. per gallon depending on density of wood.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE: Wood Protect is easy to clean with safe non-acid liquid dish soap and a water rinse off. Tough stains can be removed by pouring household bleach onto a piece of cloth and placing it directly onto the affected area. Keep the cloth saturated for 30 minutes and repeat if necessary to remove the stain.
